Where to Stay in Cha-Am

Cha-Am, located just before you reach Hua Hin from Bangkok, remains a living image of what Hua Hin used to be like: a quiet and charming seaside location that caters to locals. The beach is long and peaceful, and it’s easy to find a little plot to call your own for the day. Most of the resorts here are along the sparsely populated stretch of coastline ideally located between Cha-Am and Hua Hin, and perfectly suited to rest and recreation.

In fact, there’s not much else to do in Cha-Am than to rejuvenate, drink in the sun and enjoy peace and idyllic tranquillity. Hotels here mostly come packaged as resorts, with seafront locations, freeform pools, good restaurants, and all kinds of facilities and services dedicated entirely to pampering you. Some are the perfect romantic retreats for couples; others pack in features that make them ideal for families. You can find luxury and boutique-style resorts here, but there are also a number of places that are affordable.
