Hua Hin Beach Attractions
What to See in Hua Hin Beach
Hua Hin’s attractions are not as prevalent as say, Sukothai or Chiang Mai; it is first and foremost a beach destination. Nevertheless visitors are not short of some worthwhile sightseeing locations. One of the most attractive aspects of this town is the old-world charm that surrounds it. The preferred holiday choice of the royal family and now home to the king, it has been well preserved in order to protect its historical heritage.
In addition to several temples and palaces, there are natural attractions such as caves, waterfalls, isolated beaches, mangrove swamps, mountain vistas and a variety of animal life. Although it is possible to use public transport to reach some of the attractions, those without a set of wheels often take tours operated by the agencies in the area.

The Fishing Pier
Going back to roots of the area, to pay a visit to Hua Hin's fishing pier will give you an insight into the city’s fishing trade. There's no charge to fish or to go on the pier but there is a checking station on the way out to ‘have your fish checked for health’ – which could mean a lot of things.
