If you’re an avid beachgoer who enjoy the classic beach elements of sun, sea, sand and warm, clear waters, Pranburi is not going to disappoint. Throw in a beautiful setting against the backdrop of verdant forests, a national park with mountains and an estuary, and you start getting the picture. On route to Pranburi from Hua Hin – about a 30-km drive – you will pass several quiet bays which are good for swimming. South of Pranburi is Khao Sam Roi Yot (‘three hundred peaks’) National Park with its rugged limestone hills, part of the Tenasserim Mountains, which line the coast. Nightlife in Pranburi
Pranburi is a quiet seaside resort that’s not exactly renowned for raucous nightlife activities. For that, you’re better offer heading to Hua Hin 25km away, where there are a variety of places to go to like beer bars, local discos, Western-style pubs and venues where live music and entertainment can be enjoyed. A good night out in Pranburi would typically consist of a seafood dinner with friends, family or your romantic other half.

Shopping in Pranburi
Renowned for their fine craftsmanship, wherever you find Thai people you’re bound to also find the evidence of their skillful talents. Even though Pranburi is not known as a shopping destination and the shops in town cater mostly for the needs of locals, you’ll be surprised by what you can find with a bit of exploration. The best place to head to for shopping would be Hua Hin’s night market, a true showcase of the region’s arts and crafts. Hua Hin is just 25km away, making it very accessible and quick to reach.
