Floating Market 2 Days 1 Night

Day 1

This is your chance to experience the real Thai way of life! We leave from Hua Hin in the early morning and head towards to Samut Songkram Province located just south of Bangkok. This province is the only place in Thailand where the floating markets still exists. On the way, we pass Petchaburi-a-town famous for it's palm sugar production. We stop by at one of the small factories along the road and you will get to smell and taste this very unusual product.

Before lunch, we stop at the house of the “first” Siamese Twins and get to know more about their interesting biography. Lunch at a local restaurant and then go to the Wat Bung Kung Temple. The temple has become well known because of the trees covering the roof of it's buildings.

Early afternoon, we arrive at the Thai house where we will spend the night and we will take a couple of hours to relax before setting off for the evening market. This bustling market place provides you with an experience for all your senses!

We return for dinner and after that we embark on a long-tail boat taking us for a nightly ride along the canals. A very exciting experience and sometimes we are even lucky enough to spot some fireflies.

Day 2

We wake up early to do what most Thai people do a couple of mornings a week-donate food to the monks. In Thai Buddhism, this is a way of improving ones Karma and an important part of daily life. We enjoy breakfast at the house and then we say goodbye to our hosts and set off for the floating market at Damnoen Saduak. At the market, you can take a ride with small wooden boats (an additional cost) or just stroll around.

Visit to a woodcarving factory and then lunch. After lunch we visit the famous Rose Garden. As the name implies the garden houses an enormous amount of roses and other flowers. After strolling around the ground, we sit down and enjoy a spectacular show of the gracious Thai traditional dancing.
