“Damnoen Saduak Floating Market” in the Damnoen Saduak District of Ratchaburi first showed itself to the eyes of the tourist world in 1967, when pictures were seen of a market trading on water, where paddle boats loaded with of life’s necessities plied their trade up and down the river. The various vendors paddle up and down the waterway selling and battering their merchandise.
| Daily: 7:00–19:00 |
At Damnoen Saduak Floating Market we travel through small canals to glimpse the everyday life of riverside families going about their daily shores. The lively marker is bustling and colourful, selling everything from noodle soup to tropical fruits etc. We leave the Floating Market to “Nakhon Prathom” to see the world tallest Pagoda, Phra Prathom Chedi. Lunch is served at Rose Garden, where after we see a Thai culture and Elephant show, Thai Boxing and Bamboo Dancing, Elephant Riding also is available. |
