Be prepared for a thrill ride – safari style – into Kaeng Krachan National Park’s lush wilderness. What starts out as a scenic drive along Hua Hin’s countryside, peppered with pineapple plantations, mango groves and papaya orchards, crescendos into a heart-pounding ride through the jungle inhabited by wild elephants, bears, leopards, Indo-Chinese tigers and a host of their endangered friends.
And no we are not talking about speed but the anticipation of spotting these rare creatures along the way to the Kaeng Krachan Reservoir, where you will trek on foot and later set sail into the forest-fringed lake to savour all the delights of this wonderful gift from nature.
