Jump on the ecotourism bandwagon and go ‘green’ for a day. Combining mountain and sea adventures, this full-day nature tour brings you a full-on expedition into the wilderness of Khao Sam Roi Yod National Park, about 30 minutes south of Hua Hin town. Literally meaning ‘300 peaks’, Sam Roi Yod is famous for its dense forest cover, limestone caves with dramatic light shafts, petrified waterfall and dangling stone tentacles.

Explore the verdant, jungle-clad mountain slopes on foot, visit a seaside village where a scene from the famous British drama “The Killing Fields” was shot, then jump in a kayak and explore the bountiful mangrove forests fringing the picturesque shoreline. The rigorous start to the day mellows out as you paddle your way through the breathtaking scenery.

Daily: 8:30–15:00

Travel down south to Sam Roi Yod National Park. First visit at a seaside village “Khung Tanod” to see scenery from the world famous film “The Killing Fields” and take about 25 minutes to “Sai Cave”.

These ancient caverns have petrified waterfall and monstrous limestone domes with dangling stone tentacles. The climb to the cave is quite rigorous. Then visit the National Park Headquarters and continue to the kayak camp for a picnic lunch before embarking on a kayak tour. The kayak route is on the “Khao Daeng” trial and the mangrove nature trails are excellent opportunities to view a variety of habitats and wildlife.
