Pa La-U, the hidden charm of the nature, is one of the most spectacular waterfalls of the local area, where you can explore the exciting traveling experience provided by HAT and you can’t miss it. This dazzling waterfall (Pala-U) actually means “the bamboo forest” in accordance with Karen Tribe’s, so that you can get a closer touch of green and fertile bamboo forest as well as other wildlife living around. This 2 days 1 night trip will let you have a golden chance to touch and feel what you have never experienced before in such a tropical rainforest.

Not to forget is the extraordinary experience of Thai local life. You will get an insight in how ordinary Thai people go about with their everyday lives, you will get a chance to take part in the daily routine of donating food for the monks. Also you will help to prepare your own lunch, giving you a hands-on experience of preparing Thai food.

Day 1

As soon as you depart from Hua Hin, the first short visit of our trip is “pineapple plantation”. The endless plantation, rich of pineapples, will enable you to understand more how juicy pineapples in the world are grown. After having visited there, we will head you forwards to Pala-U Waterfall whose nature is still fertile. At the entrance of this waterfall, we will pick you up with a pick-up truck, along both sides of the way to the waterfall will provide you with the flora and fauna, which are regarded to be a living museum, and you will be also welcomed with “the sound of the jungle”, listen well!

When reach the waterfall, we will trek up to the 4th level where a pond filled with various kinds of fish located. There, you are allowed to swim with those fishes in cold & transparent water, surrounded by a green hug of the jungle before getting back on the same way. And have your lunch at the local restaurant to recharge your energy before going on to Huay Saad Yai, the Karen Hilltribe’s village, to explore the way of their life. Arrive at the river’ bank to keep on trekking along the river to reach the friendly and non-commercial village. When you reach the village, children will greet and welcome all of you with performances to express their delight in your visit. Then, say good bye those villagers to get to Panathip Resort where we will have a Thai dinner and overnight comfortable stay.

Day 2

Wake up in the early morning with freshness for offering food to monks at the resort as Thai tradition before having healthy breakfast. Then do a bit of exercise by riding a bike to the local market (around 8 km.) for purchasing some needed raw materials and ingredients for our Thai lunch prepared by you. Before preparing your meal, we will take you to have a smell of nature by Kayaking on Pranburi River, which refreshes your feeling and mind by providing green and fertile forest.

After relaxing yourselves on the river, we will come back the resort to prepare our Thai lunch, this activity will enable you to learn more on Thai cuisine by real cooking experience as well as eating what you have cooked as your lunch. In the afternoon, stop at a jungle temple on the way to Hua Hin to explore the Buddhist life and to pay homage to the Buddha image in a peaceful posture as well as getting much closer to solitary life before arriving Hua Hin with happiness and joyfulness.
