Inspired by traditional Moroccan mansions known as riads, the two-storey Pool Courts are built around an open courtyard, filling them with natural light and enhancing the privacy of the accommodation.
Traditionally the focal point of Moroccan living, the courtyards have been lushly landscaped and decoratively designed with fine inlaid mosaic. The stunning centerpiece fountain, known as a zellige, was authentically crafted by a Moroccan artist and completes the transportation to another world.
Boasts panoramic views of the sea on one side and is conveniently located near the courtyard swimming pool on the other. The interior is traditionally Moroccan, using the soft tones and earthy hues long associated with Maghrebi design.
Most central to the courtyard and overlooks the decorative fountain and gardens. The theme is a modern Moroccan design and takes its cue from contemporary life with soothing tones and clean lines.
The last riad to be set around the courtyard and like its name, is among the most beautiful. Riad Grunful blends traditional and contemporary Moroccan décor to create an awe-inspiring ambience of North African luxury.
The Pool Courts are uniquely designed, creating a more intimate&personal escape. On the ground floor, each unit backs out onto its own patch of the courtyard whish is an idyllic location for reading in the shade during the heat of the day or for sipping tea as the sun goes down, while the upper floors boast large balconies with incredible views that are perfect for daytime sun worshippers or for a nighttime private party for two under the moon-lit sky.

Villa Maroc has four lavish Pool Villas - Villa Shammar (fennel), Villa Kammoon (cumin), Villa Kuzbra (coriander) and Villa Qurfa (cinnamon) - each of which is unique in floor plan and décor. Each authentic villa enjoys panoramic views of the sea and a private infinity pool for individual indulgence.
Direct access to the beach can be reached via a waterside courtyard from which life can be savoured. While the spacious bedroom is located on the second floor, these exclusive villas also house private spa spaces which provide the most intimate place to enjoy an invigorating Thai massage or any number of spa treatments to your choosing.
In keeping with the Moroccan style, authentic motifs enhance the décor with much use made of the natural light and open air terraces. The deck on the third floor is the perfect place to organise a private BBQ, and soak up the sun.
Villa Kurkum (Turmeric)
At one time turmeric was one of the world's most important trading commodities. As a favoured spice, it is widely used in Middle Eastern cuisine, but is also a very important textile dye. Villa Kurkum is a beautiful, two-storey villa situated on the beach with breathtaking views of the turquoise sea and clear blue sky -- these view are among the best in the resort.
The building is specially designed with high ceiling and plenty of door and windows opening out onto the water's edge, making the most out of the breeze that naturally glides off the sea. The interior uses colourful lamp, textiles and intricately carved wooden ornamentation to create the Moroccan feeling. The spacious balcony is ideal for private sun bathing or a late afternoon massage. In the evening, under a starry sky, this is the perfect place to relax and settle in for a romantic night.
Villa Yanisoon (Aniseed)
A native to the Eastern Mediterranean and South Asia, the fragrant and sharp tasting seed of the anise plant remains an important crop across the Arab world and is often used as the base of many Middle Eastern dishes. It is said that one good health benefit from eating aniseed is relaxation. It is this healthful aspect that was focused upon when designing Villa Yanisoon.
It owes its beauty and charm to the use of traditional architecture and furnishings, transforming this two- bedroom, two-storey villa into one of the most iconic in all of the resort. Situated on glorious Pranburi beach, but in keeping with the colour scheme for which Moroccan cities are famed, this villa is painted pink and marries the best of Morocco with all the glory of the Thai coastline.
Villa Za'atar (Thyme)
Used by the ancient Egyptians for embalming, the ancient Greeks for incense, the Romans to ward off nightmares and in the Middle Ages to bring courage, thyme has a long history in most Mediterranean and Asian cultures. Accommodating up to four people in its flexible living space, Villa Za'atar is one of the biggest in the resort.
The bedroom is situated on the second floor with a generous bathroom area that offers a large Jacuzzi and magnificent sea views. One of the villa's most alluring features is the roof terrace which is furnished in Morocco's grandest style and set against the warm exterior colour of the spice itself. Antiques are important here, and the interior is punctuated with unique pieces from Morocco's rich past.
Villa Za'Faran (Saffron)
The world's most expensive spice by weight and traditionally considered one of the most exotic, saffron has a rich history when it comes to the spice trade. Indeed, it is the connotations of wealth and excess that are associated with saffron that are represented in the design of this splendid and spacious villa, including the dramatic in-villa swing which hangs from the ceiling and helps promote a healing, relaxing mood.
Accommodating up to five people with a flexible living design, this is a great place to spend lazy days meditating, reading and admiring the scenery. The second floor houses the main bedroom from which there is a sun-splashed terrace with an open-air Jacuzzi and a bathroom that makes the most of the natural light and commanding sea views. The third floor rooftop is the place to plan a private dinner under the stars. Additional living space is provided with the lower level room, perfect for children or extra guests.
